Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms apply to website design, development and related services provided by beribus (Ričardas Plančiūnas and Karolis Mikulėnas), contact - ricardas@beribus.com. By commissioning a service, you agree to the terms described below.

2. Scope of services

We provide website design, copywriting and development services. The exact scope of a project (number of pages, features, languages) is agreed individually before work starts and recorded in writing or on the invoice.

3. Pricing and payment

• Prices are set for a specific result, not for hours spent - we don't charge an hourly rate. Indicative prices are listed on our pricing page. The final amount is confirmed once we've agreed on the exact list of work.
• 50% is paid upfront when work starts, the remainder before the site is moved to your domain.
• Before work starts we draw up a written agreement covering the scope of work, price and timeline, plus an invoice with a 7-day payment term. We'll draw up a full services contract if you'd like one - a long contract isn't required by default.

4. Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included in the price. Each additional round after that costs a flat €40 - see our pricing page.

5. What's not included

Hosting, domain registration and photography are not included in the service price - these are separate, small costs paid directly to the relevant provider (not to us).

6. Timelines

The delivery timeline depends on the scope of the project and on how quickly we receive the material we need (copy, photos, access). An indicative timeline is agreed before work starts.

7. Ownership of the finished work

Once paid in full, the individual design and code become yours - you may hand the site over to any other specialist, with no ongoing dependency on us. Third-party components (fonts, open-source libraries, stock photos) remain subject to their own licences, which allow you to use and continue modifying the site.

8. Fixing bugs after launch

We fix bugs caused by our own work free of charge for a reasonable period after launch - the exact period is agreed and recorded individually for each project. Changes caused by third-party providers (hosting, domain registrar, etc.) are not covered.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated - the current version is always published on this page together with the update date.
