Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms apply to the services provided by beribus (Ričardas Plančiūnas and Karolis Mikulėnas), contact - help@beribus.com: our main service - website maintenance under maintenance plans (beribus.com, section 2) - and our additional service - website design (design.beribus.com, section 3). By commissioning a service, you agree to the terms described below.

2. Website maintenance (maintenance plans)

2.1. Plans and prices

Lite - €69/month, 5 hours of work per month (€13.80 per hour in the plan).
Pro - €239/month, 20 hours of work per month (€12 per hour in the plan).
Max - €399/month, 40 hours of work per month (€10 per hour in the plan).

Every plan includes updates, backups, security monitoring and a monthly report. Updates count towards the plan hours, like all work (for a WordPress site, about 1–1.5 hours a month); the monthly report shows the exact time.

Prices are final: beribus is not VAT-registered, so no VAT applies and nothing is added to the price.

2.2. Extra hours and work without a plan

If you run out of plan hours, we keep working: an extra hour is €25 on Lite (we reply within 24 hours) and €20 on Pro and Max (Mon–Sat, as soon as possible).
A job longer than 2 hours (Lite) or 5 hours (Pro, Max) is estimated first and started only after you approve.
Work without a plan - €35/hour.

2.3. Payment and start of work

Payment is by bank transfer only. Once you choose a plan, you see the payment details: recipient, IBAN, amount and reference.
The process: you choose a plan, make the transfer and book a Zoom call. Before the call we check that the payment has arrived (if it has not, we move the call). On the call we get to know each other and get access, and then work starts.
In later months you transfer the same amount with the same reference (a standing order is easiest).

2.4. Working hours

We work Mon–Sat, 8:00–18:00 (Lithuanian time).

2.5. Guarantee (14 days)

If the service is not right for you and you write to us within 14 days of payment, we refund the unused part of the first month and end the plan - the 3-month minimum does not apply in that case. Work already done is not refunded (e.g. if we did 1 hour of work on Lite, we refund €55.20). If we cannot maintain your website, we refund the full amount.

2.6. Term and cancellation

The minimum plan term is 3 months. After that you can cancel the plan at any time with 30 days' notice.

2.7. Second language

A new language version is not part of the plan and is paid once, as website design work: €149 for a one-page site, €249 for up to 5 pages, €390 for an online shop; we agree the scope on the call. Translating texts for an existing language comes from plan hours.

3. Website design (design.beribus.com)

This section applies to new websites ordered through design.beribus.com.

3.1. Scope of services

We provide website design, copywriting and development services. The exact scope of a project (number of pages, features, languages) is agreed individually before work starts and recorded in writing or on the invoice.

3.2. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed on our pricing page and are fixed for the stated scope; for a different scope we confirm the amount in writing before work starts.
Orders up to €150 inclusive: no upfront payment – we invoice once you've checked the finished work, with a 7-day payment term.
Orders over €150: 50% upfront; work starts once it's received, and the remainder is paid after you've seen the finished work, before the site moves to your domain. We move the site to your domain only after full payment.
Before work starts we agree in writing on the scope, price and timeline. We'll draw up a full services contract if you'd like one – a long contract isn't required.

3.3. Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included in the price. Each additional round after that costs a flat €40 - see our pricing page.

3.4. What's not included

Hosting, domain registration and photography are not included in the service price - these are separate, small costs paid directly to the relevant provider (not to us).

3.5. Timelines

The delivery timeline depends on the scope of the project and on how quickly we receive the material we need (copy, photos, access). An indicative timeline is agreed before work starts.

3.6. Ownership of the finished work

Once paid in full, you receive the complete site code and a perpetual right to use and modify it – you may hand the site over to any other specialist, with no ongoing dependency on us. We may reuse the layout the site is based on for other projects. Third-party components (fonts, open-source libraries, stock photos) remain subject to their own licences, which allow you to use and continue modifying the site.

3.7. Fixing bugs after launch

We fix bugs caused by our own work free of charge for a reasonable period after launch - the exact period is agreed and recorded individually for each project. Changes caused by third-party providers (hosting, domain registrar, etc.) are not covered.
